FOCUS2: New major, career and education planning system debuts

Career Services is pleased to announce the launch of FOCUS2, an interactive, self-guided career and education planning system. The online tool is designed to help students make decisions about their career and education plan.

FOCUS2 includes assessments of skills, work interests, personality, values, and leisure time. Students can discover occupations that match their personal preferences and attributes. FOCUS2 also allows students to learn how occupations align with educational training programs offered at Columbus State. Students can create a career action plan and portfolio that will guide them towards achieving their goals

Columbus State offers FOCUS2 as a service to currently enrolled students and alumni. You are invited to visit the FOCUS2 web page at: http://www.cscc.edu/services/careers/assessments2.shtml

If you’re interested in sharing the tool with your class or would like a demonstration, please contact Dr. Chandra Bell at ext. 2782 for more information.
