On the chilly first day of the semester, enrollments are up by nearly six percent, to 25,185 at the Columbus Campus, Delaware Campus and five regional learning centers. Take a ‘sneak peek’ at Student Central!

Employees are invited to take a sneak preview of the renovated first floor of Madison Hall, now to be called “Student Central,” a one-stop center for student services. The preview will be held Friday, January 29, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., hosted by the staff of the new area.

The updated area will allow Columbus State to serve students in a more holistic manner.  With the closure of the customer service areas in Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid and Admissions, Student Central will become the first step for accessing key resources at Columbus State.  The area features a larger computer lab, self-serve computer stations, and numerous offices for confidential student assistance.

Student Central officially opens for students next month.

Shortly after the first floor Student Central opens its doors, renovations will begin in the lower level of Madison Hall. This update will include creating an area for students to pick up Cougar ID cards and parking passes. This second phase of renovation will be completed in March.  During the second phase of renovation, access to the lower level of Madison Hall will be limited.
