Campus road renovation begins today

Beginning today and continuing through the end of August, portions of Grove Street and Jefferson Avenue will be closed for at least one month at a time. Here’s what you can expect. (Dates are approximate and detours will be posted on campus.)

May 16 – June 16: Jefferson Avenue (in red) will be closed.

June 17 – August 27: Grove Street (in yellow) will be closed

May 16 – August 27: The middle section (in blue) connecting Grove Street and Jefferson Avenue will remain open during the entire construction period. However, it will be reduced to one lane with a flagger on each end allowing a few cars to pass through at a time.

The construction project is designed to allow access to all parking lots in some form or fashion. However, depending on the lot, you may have to use a more roundabout way to get there. Parking tip: If you want to avoid delays, consider using the big parking lots (11-S and 12-S) in front of campus, or the parking garage.
