Audio-Visual renovation in Conference Center Ballroom begins
next month

The Conference Center ballroom in WD will be undergoing replacement and refresh of A/V technologies February 5 through March 9. If you have a scheduled event during renovation/construction, please know there will be noise, possible dust and debris, construction services foot traffic, electrical work in various conference center spaces, and equipment being brought in and out from the service elevator.

With this in mind, please reach out to Conference Center coordinator Patty Gabrenya if you wish to relocate your event. Conference Center staff can assist you in this process working with Central Scheduling to make any changes.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience during this time. On a positive note, we are looking into having a new and improved system in the Ballroom that will be highly functional and will meet your needs when using that space.

New artist exhibition in library

The library is pleased to welcome artist Hillary Jones for the month of January. Jones is exhibiting a collection of her works entitled “Dreamscapes.” Jones graduated from The Ohio State University with a BFA in photography, and spent the following years collecting moments of time through photographs, scraps of paper and old dusty magazines. Using miniature sculptures and dioramas, she creates windows into the worlds that rest behind her eyes. She plays with color, texture, and light to construct a landscape we often see only in dreams.

Hillary’s exhibition will be on view through the month of January in both the Library’s main gallery on the second floor and its auxiliary gallery on the first floor.
