2019 Service Awards Celebration
On March 8, the College celebrated more than 650 faculty and staff members for their many years of service, specifically those who were marking five-year milestones. At least 250 gathered for the in-person celebration for the official Spirit of Community Day of Recognition 2018 Service Awards. President Harrison provided remarks and a staff or faculty member from each five-year term shared stories of their career, including some moving memories from several long-time employees. Columbus State’s Gospel Vocal Ensemble provided joy and inspiration, whle Clawdette and cheerleaders showed encouragement through cheer. The annual event concluded with those attending gathering for “class photos” marking five to 45 years of service.
