Using the Learning Management System

myPLAN for Learning is a learning management system (LMS) for employee development. Find it inside the colleges Cornerstone suite of modules. Log in to (select "Production [Live]"). Below are guides for completing common tasks in the LMS.

You can add to your transcript training and learning events that are NOT provided via the LMS. Examples include conferences, academic and non-credit courses, and other training you can document. Ed2Go classes

Ed2Go offers a wide range of highly interactive non-credit courses that you take entirely online. Course are offered in the areas of Accounting and Finance, Business, College Readiness, Computer Applications, Design and Composition, Healthcare and Medical, Language and Arts, Law and Legal, Personal Development, Teaching and Education, Technology, and Writing and Publishing.  To take courses:

  1. Go to Ed2Go site and find class you want to take (DO NOT ENROLL!! See the next step. If you pay for a class you must request a reimbursement which may not be approved.) 
  2. Complete the fee waiver form and submit to manager for approval.
  3. Manager enters GL Account to cover payment of fees, signs form, sends to Non-Credit Registration Office (WD-1090).

After the form is received in the Non-Credit Registration Office, the Non-Credit Office will :

  1. Enroll the student in the Ed2Go class AND also a Colleague section.
  2. Call/email the employee and inform them of the enrollment and answer any questions they may have.
  3. Send the form to Accounting for processing/transfer of funds to pay the Colleague fees.

Columbus State Employee Tuition Fee Waivers

Columbus State employees and their dependents can have all or part of their tuition waved for academic classes offered by Columbus State. See the Tuition Waiver page for criteria and the process for applying.
