Students get a real-world look at operations management

students on tour of plant

Business Management students in Charla Fraley’s Operations Management course toured United Security Seals Inc., a 110-year-old business that is the largest manufacturer of lead and wire security seals in North America. Owner and manager Rob Sanders conducted the tour and discussed the company’s development and use of proprietary equipment and manufacturing processes. It was a great way to bring the course content full circle and give students a real-world view of operations management in action.
