Three present at MLA conference

Winter reminder about smoking

Smokers are reminded of the city law prohibiting smokers from gathering at entryways. Smoking in proximity to an entrance or exit can cause smoke to drift into the building, or cause nonsmokers to walk through secondhand smoke to enter or exit.  The Columbus Dept. of Health and Columbus State Dept. of Public Safety are required to enforce this city law.  Thank you for not smoking in or near doorways.

Biking is big in 2012

Now that the New Year has begun, Columbus State’s Bike Advocates hope to really kick the “2by2012” project into high gear.

2by2012 is an initiative supported by the college in which students and employees are encouraged to ride their bicycle to campus at least twice a month.

Ohio State's How We Roll bike advocate group will be here on Tuesday, January 17, at 3 p.m. in the Development Foundation Offices (750 East Long Street) to discuss possible bicycling projects that our two colleges can work on together. If you are interested in participating in this discussion, please attend!  Need more information?  Contact Rich James.
